Basic Service

This service is for bikes which have had little use or if you wish to have a pre race service to make sure your bike is running perfectly.

 

 

  • Frame and fork wiped down.

  • Headset and bottom bracket checked for wear and adjusted.

  • Gears and brakes checked for wear and adjusted.

  • Wheels checked for true.

  • Hubs checked for wear.

  • Nuts and bolts checked and tightened to manufacturer's specifications.

  • Chain Lubricated.

  • Tyres checked and inflated.

Comprehensive Service

This type of service is recommended as a superior regular maintenance service, around once every 6 months.

 

 

  • Frame and fork cleaned and inspected for damage and alignment.

  • Wheels are cleaned, checked for tension and trued.

  • Wheel hubs are checked for play and adjusted.

  • Headset and bottom bracket are checked for play and adjusted.

  • Drivetrain is degreased, cleaned, lubricated and checked for wear.

  • Gears and brakes once cleaned are lubricated and adjusted.

  • Moving parts are lubricated.

  • Nuts and bolts checked and tightened to manufacturer's specifications.

  • Chain lubricated, tyres checked and inflated.

Premium Service

This type of service is a complete stripdown and rebuild, for those of you looking to get back your bike in an as good (in many cases better than!) as new condition.

 

  • Bike stripped down to component parts.

  • Frame cleaned & checked for damage. Minor paint imperfections polished out.

  • Threads are cleaned, chased and greased.

  • Headset and bottom bracket once removed are checked for wear, cleaned, greased and re-fitted.

  • Wheels are cleaned, checked for tension and trued.

  • Wheel hubs are disassembled, checked for wear, cleaned, greased and reassembled.

  • All moving parts are thouroughly cleaned, checked and lubricated.

  • Gears and brakes are aligned and adjusted and bled accordingly.

  • Nuts and bolts checked and tightened to manufacturer's specifications.

  • Chain lubricated, tyres checked and inflated
